The Challenge

The company needed a solution to help it manage inventory, fulfill orders quickly and accurately, and provide customers with the best experience possible.

With Oracle NetSuite already in place, IWA was looking for a solution that could seamlessly integrate with its ERP and extend its machine-to-machine capabilities. The company was looking for an intuitive software solution that didn’t require a lot of IT maintenance.

Additionally, IWA wanted real-time visibility into its inventory and the ability to select the most cost-effective shipping rates.

The Solution

IWA chose Cloud Inventory to help it transform its warehouse operations.

With the Cloud Inventory Picking App, IWA’s picking processes became much more organized. Workers could now quickly access picking lists on their mobile devices and scan and process 15-20 orders at a time.

The app also generated the most efficient pick route in the warehouse to accelerate pick time and order fulfillment. Streamlining this process eliminated time-consuming steps, which helped IWA process orders faster and optimized its warehouse productivity.

To simplify its shipping options, IWA also implemented Cloud Inventory’s Shipping App. Previously, employees had to navigate through several screens to complete the shipping process for each order. In IWA’s new process, the Cloud Inventory app was integrated into its Oracle NetSuite ERP, meaning employees could now access shipping rates for multiple carriers in real time. This allowed employees to choose the least expensive shipping method for every order, resulting in significant cost savings for IWA.

The Results

With Cloud Inventory’s pick and ship applications, IWA’s warehouse is running significantly smoother and faster. With a 20% year-over-year improvement in orders processed since implementation, IWA can now confidently handle the ebbs and flows of seasonal orders and scale as its business grows.
